“What’s on your mind?” asks Facebook
A lot of things – big and small
From the mundane and trivial
To the profound and serious.

But what should be on my mind?
Do I ought to control it?
Or just let my thoughts run free?
No, lest I fall into sin.

I think about truthful things,
Respectable and right things.
I focus on thoughts so pure,
Thoughts that make me love, not hate.
Thoughts that are admirable.

It is difficult to do.
The mind is mighty and strong
But God is more powerful
With His help the mind is changed.
